• Effect of Global Warming on CT Shorelines


“Using local tide gauge data and the best science currently available, CIRCA has provided the range of sea level rise scenarios through the end of the century for Connecticut. Based on these scenarios, CIRCA recommends that Connecticut plan for the upper end of this range, equal to 20 inches of sea level rise by the year 2050…

“Twenty inches is a little over 1.5 feet, which doesn't seem like much over the course of the next 32 years. So why should we be concerned?”
