“With the Connecticut economy still stuck in a slow-growth mode, forecasters predicted Thursday that the state's tax collections will be $46 million less than projected in the current fiscal year – before getting worse over the next three years…

”The bigger problems will come in the future, as tax revenues are expected to drop in the three fiscal years starting in July. The projections call for net drops of nearly $200 million in the 2018 fiscal year, $286 million in the 2019 fiscal year and $359 million in 2020….
