”Typically, the Naugatuck and Shetucket Rivers are stocked with salmon several times in the fall. Anglers are advised that the exceedingly dry weather that Connecticut has been experiencing has dropped stream flows in the Shetucket and Naugatuck Rivers to levels unsuitable for stocking these fish at this time.
“When sufficient rainfall to improve stream flow conditions occurs, DEEP will be able to stock both rivers with the additional salmon that will be ready for release later this fall….”
