Energy Costs More In Connecticut Than In Any Other State


“Energy costs in Connecticut are the highest in the nation, according to a new report from the financial website WalletHub, totaling more than $400 a month for an average consumer.

“Factors that led to the final rankings included electricity prices, the cost of natural gas, the cost of home heating oil and the cost of gasoline....”

COMMENT: "What Is Our State Government Doing About This?" Not a thing. The legislature is preoccupied with getting a higher minimum wage and continues to pass business-restricting laws many of which, such as the Connecticut Family and Medical Leave Act, duplicate existing federal laws but nevertheless require the CT Labor Department to enforce. Remember what has happened with GE? And yet we keep electing the same damn fools to office!
