Saturday started innnocently enough with Zach and Michael catching...



...snappers...

...in this case, a lane snapper...


...off the boat basin right in front of the house.

In each photo the guys are holding mangrove snappers.


But then we moved on to the shark and barracuda place...



...where things become considerably more interesting.

Sharks!


Here Caroline holds the GoPro underwater to get a shot...



...of a shark on the end of Zachary's line.



These were not the kind of sharks for which one would need a bigger boat.



Ranging from a little as 4 pounds to something in the mid-teens...

...they had some serious dentition and one would not want to reach in there for any reason.


These were bonnethead sharks...

...members of the hammerhead family.


A lot of fun on light tackle...

...and all returned to the water safely.
