• Fishing Report: Boston Area

“Warm water temperatures and a general lack of striped bass in Massachusetts waters in late July appeared to paint a depressing picture of poor striper fishing ahead for August. Then, over the past week, a slug of stripers showed up in Bay State waters, likely coming in from offshore grounds.

”Nobody seems to know why these fish came inshore or how long they’ll stay, but for the moment, I’m not hearing any complaints.…”
