• Wicked Tuna: In More Ways Than One...


“Federal officials released a recommendation this summer calling for women of childbearing age to eat more fish low in mercury. But that guideline failed to warn consumers about the threat posed by tuna, Consumer Reports said Thursday…

”… some species of tuna – skipjack for example – are almost always low in mercury but others – albacore and yellowfin – are not. Along with recommending that pregnant women avoid tuna, Consumer Reports said that everyone should limit their consumption based on their weight.”
