• Fishing Report: Boston Area


“As we near the tail end of a striper-fishing season that, by most accounts, was slower than what we’ve enjoyed in years past, it would appear that fishermen’s hopes for a September salvation have been answered. From the North Shore to the South Shore, fishing action has picked up in a big way.

”The catalyst for the fall-run fun is a proliferation of small bait fish and schoolie-sized stripers. The bait fish are mostly juvenile menhadens….”
