• Fishing Report: Maine, New Hampshire; So That’s Where the Big Ones Are?


“Southern Maine has stripers to 44 inches, all of the New Hampshire coast has bass to 45 inches and there are mackerel everywhere along with small pollock to use for bait.

"This has been a great week for the striper angler here with a good run of bass being pushed to the coast by the big offshore storm.

”The other news is the lack of blues which usually push the bait out but right now the bait are staying put. A big attraction here is the thresher, mako and blue sharks now found in these waters….”
