Friday night's full moon.

The Shoo-Fly Fishing Crew decided Saturday was the day to catch barracuda.

We headed out of Snake Creek to the Atlantic side of Islamorada where there was a known cuda hangout.

They were there, but the score Turned out to be cudas 7, us 0.

We had several cudas follow the lures and then turn away at the last second.

Local cormorants thought this was hilarious.

It was windy...up to 15 kts, so we headed for another spot...one that would be in the lee to some degree.

There Zachary scored to first cuda of the day...

...a small one, but it still put a grin on Zachary's face.

The cuda did a job of chopping up the plastic jig.

In the final spot we fished, Michael hooked up...

...and brought in a nice barracuda.

As did Caroline.

And Zachary.

These three fish all hit the kids' lures within minutes of each other so we had moments of mayhem reeling in fish, landing fish, and getting fish off the hooks and back into the water unharmed.

Another great day on the water!
