• Fishing Report: Long Island Sound

“Scup fishing this season along the north shore of Long Island has been nothing less than hot, and recreational anglers have been doing well with fish up to 2 1/2 pounds. There have been many larger pork chops caught this season as well, but those two-pound panfish of the sea have been a mainstay for both the recreational and party boat fleet.

”You don't need many of those to enjoy a great meal. Liberal limits, especially for those fishing from party or charter boats, will enable you to stock up on some of these tasty fillets to enjoy later when the snow falls.”
