• Fishing Report: New Jersey


“Fluke fishing in the ocean and Raritan Bay has been good when a drift is present. Pool winners onboard the party boats are in the 5- to 7-pound range. In the ocean, cocktail blues are present but big blues are still absent. Snapper blues are prevalent throughout Raritan Bay.

”False albacore have shown up 15-30 miles out and are mixed in with the bluefin tuna. Small striped bass are being caught in the surf in the early morning and nighttime hours.”
