• Effect of “Non-Winter” on Fishing

”As a result of our non-winter, striped bass that would normally be feeding through this area have, for the most part, already migrated north. The good thing is not all of them leave. Some of the late-run fish will remain around the region for the summer, as long as there is forage upon which they can prey. Catch numbers have dropped drastically, however, according to reports this week."
