”If there is one thing stripers hate, it is a blistering sun beating down on them from directly overhead, illuminating and heating the water column to 20 feet.

”When that happens, bass with no access to shades or sunblock head for deeper, colder water.

”This leaves daytime anglers discontent, with a few schoolie bass and a lot of adult sea robins."
