A memory from days gone by when it used to be possible to go out on the water and go fishing.


WEDNESDAY: SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT: EAST WINDS 20 TO 25 KNOTS AND GUSTY. BAY WATERS VERY ROUGH. SCATTERED SHOWERS.

All well and good...but...according to the buoy on Molasses Reef, the winds are actually 26 kts. gusting to 31.


THURSDAY: EAST WINDS NEAR 20 KNOTS. BAY WATERS ROUGH. ISOLATED SHOWERS.

FRIDAY: EAST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS...DECREASING TO NEAR 15 KNOTS IN THE AFTERNOON. BAY WATERS CHOPPY...BECOMING A MODERATE CHOP. ISOLATED SHOWERS.

SATURDAY: NORTHEAST TO EAST WINDS NEAR 15 KNOTS...INCREASING TO 15 TO 20 KNOTS. BAY WATERS A MODERATE CHOP...BECOMING CHOPPY. ISOLATED SHOWERS.

SUNDAY: EAST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS. BAY WATERS CHOPPY. ISOLATED SHOWERS.
