Fishing Report: NYC Area

"In Long Island Sound, porgies and bluefish remain the biggest attraction. Porgies can be found from City Island to Rye and even more readily farther east like around Huntington and the North Fork. Blues up to a hefty 17 pounds are handily close to home, say from the Throgs Neck bridge to Execution Light. Striped bass are being taken from 10-foot shallow waters or at 40 to 50 feet swimming with those blues." NYDailyNews.com
