Charles Walsh’s Fishing Report

"Fall bass fishing is just starting to pick up after a very slow September, but it is far from what it should be at this time of year. The lack of large forage food, mainly like bunker, is the reason the great mass of linesiders are staying in areas where there is more to eat. While there are occasional sightings of bunker schools in Long Island Sound, none of the harbors or rivers holds significant numbers of this important prey source."
