Fishing’s Hot Near Boston

”Big stripers and some monster toothy bluefish sniffed out the pogies in Boston Harbor late this week. At around a pound of oily flesh, a pogy is a mouthful of a meal, and that’s why they consistently attract the biggest of the bass. Snag a few pogies with a weighted treble and live-line them around your favorite striper spot for a shot at your biggest bass of the season.”

Note: Pogy = Bunker = Menhaden
