They Can't Be Here Already, Can They?

We’ve heard that a good-sized bluefish was caught on a chunk off Bond’s Dock on the Housatonic River in Stratford this week.
With River temperatures having retreated into the mid-40s, any blues in the Housy must be darned sorry they’re there...and singing, "Mercy, mercy, mercy...why did I ever leave New Jersey?"[1]

[1][Variation of “Why, Oh Why, Oh Why, Oh -- Why Did I Ever Leave Ohio?” from Bernstein’s Wonderful Town.]

Don’t forget, a 2010 saltwater fishing license is required to fish the marine waters of Connecticut. You can purchase one from your local bait & tackle shop, such as Newtown Bait & Tackle, or at Town/City Hall.
