Wednesday morning didn't look very good to start. Temperature was 68°, humidity pushing 80%, winds were whipping, and skies were threatening. |
The orange hibiscus is still doing it's job of producing beautiful flowers. They'd look a lot prettier with a little sunshine on them.Click on photos to enlarge. |
The forecast was for the clouds to clear off and the sun to come out, so Wayne and I decided we'd go out on the water and try to find places to fish out of the 15-kt. winds. |
Wayne's son-in-law, Mat and family are here from Quebec. Mat's a die-hard fisherman so a little wind and weather wasn't about to hold him back from his first opportunity to fish since last October. |
This squall chased us around, but we managed to avoid it. |
Was an absolutely amazing show of clouds and setting sun on Wednesday evening. |
In this shot the clouds were passing from left to right; this is the point at which they allowed the sun to come through. |
The shot below gives promise to a possibly sunny day on Thursday. |
