“With the temperatures regularly sinking into the teens and snow finally flying, it is time to put the shrink-wrap cover on the old fishing column vessel for another year and store it in some out-of-the-way corner until the first winter flounder flutters out of the mud looking for his first meal sometime in February.

Don’t forget, a saltwater fishing license is now required to fish the marine waters of Connecticut. You can purchase one from your local bait & tackle shop, such as Newtown Bait & Tackle, or at Town/City Hall.
